Ruby Ojiakor announces pregnancy with video showing husband Moc Madu’s joyous reaction. The couple is expecting their first child

Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has shared her husband Moc Madu’s priceless reaction upon learning she is pregnant.

In a video shared online, Madu is seen sitting in a car as Ojiakor hands him the pregnancy test results. Overwhelmed with joy, he could hardly believe the news, expressing pure happiness.

The actress revealed she was already one month and two weeks pregnant, initially mistaking her symptoms for malaria until she visited the hospital. Ruby captioned the video:

“My Husband’s Reaction When He Found Out I Was Pregnant. We thought it was malaria. I never knew I was ‘A month and two weeks’ pregnant. Thank you, JESUS CHRIST, for YOUR COUNTLESS BLESSINGS upon our Lives. We’re forever grateful. TWO HEARTS ONE SOUL.”

The couple, who married last year on May 31, 2025, had previously made headlines when Ruby announced her engagement in January 2025.

Their wedding was a star-studded event, highlighted by Ruby kneeling to praise her husband in a viral moment that captured fans’ hearts.

Ruby also celebrated Madu in a social media post, describing him as a God-fearing Odogwu, her world, and the man who understands her perfectly.
