Uche Jombo Nollywood reality comments spark discussion as the filmmaker says the industry is smaller and more connected than many believe

Uche Jombo has shared what she described as an important reality about Nollywood, cautioning young filmmakers against misconceptions about the size and structure of the Nigerian film industry.

According to Uche Jombo, Nollywood may appear massive from the outside because of its global recognition and high volume of productions, but the industry is far more interconnected than many people realise.

“Nollywood is not as big as you think it is. It is a very small industry. It is not as big,” she said during the conversation.
