Toyin Abraham, speaking during an appearance on The Morayo Show, reflected on her life changes following pregnancy and childbirth, explaining that her husband played a significant role in reshaping her habits within the home environment.

The actress said Kolawole Ajeyemi, whom she described as one of the most important people in her life, expressed concern about her smoking during pregnancy and after the birth of their child, stressing the importance of maintaining a healthy environment for their family.

“Kolawole Ajeyemi is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. He lets me be me. I used to smoke cigarettes. I still smoke vape once in a while. But I stopped smoking cigarettes,” she said.

Toyin Abraham added that her husband’s warning became more serious after childbirth, particularly after an incident where he observed her smoking during an outing but chose not to react immediately.

“When I gave birth, we went out, and he saw me smoking; he did not say anything,” she said.

She explained that Ajeyemi later addressed the issue directly, making a clear boundary that influenced her decision to stop cigarette smoking.

“He told me that he did not say I should not smoke cigarettes, but he must not see the butt with his child,” she said, adding that the statement carried significant weight in their relationship.

According to the actress, the warning was decisive, describing it as a “powerful” moment that ultimately led her to quit cigarettes, although she admitted she still occasionally uses vape.

Industry observers note that Abraham’s openness adds to ongoing conversations around celebrity lifestyles and personal discipline, particularly within family settings where public figures balance career demands and private responsibilities.
