Tonto Dikeh student support continues as actress funds education, provides laptops, and helps a father start a business for his family’s future

Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has fulfilled a promise to support a student from Junior Secondary School Durumi II, Abuja, extending aid from the classroom to the family, on 12 March 2026.

During her evangelism outreach, Dikeh committed to funding the boy’s education through to university and returned with her team to honour that pledge.

Tonto Dikeh met the student’s father, providing new school bags, sandals, and other essentials. She ensured financial provision to cover the boy’s junior secondary education uninterrupted.

Moving beyond education, Dikeh gifted the father ₦1,000,000 to start a small business, helping him support his three children with stability and dignity.

Further demonstrating her commitment to digital learning, Dikeh ordered ten laptops for the school to enhance classroom instruction.

She described the gesture as a practical demonstration of faith and action, emphasising the importance of tangible support in communities.

The actress’s generosity aligns with her broader philanthropic work. Earlier this year, she offered free JAMB registration to 1,000 students in Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja.

Last year, her foundation assisted over 3,000 girls annually, funded prosthetic limbs for amputees, donated to widows and the elderly, and awarded scholarships to children, highlighting her enduring commitment to education and humanitarian causes.
