Beyond his personal story, Ogogo used the opportunity to advise men against abandoning their responsibilities, stressing that parental duties cannot be avoided permanently.

The actor said men who neglect their children will eventually have to confront those responsibilities.

“If you say you’re a man and you don’t care about your children, that responsibility is hanging by the corner of your house. Anytime you return, you’ll still have to face it squarely,” he said.

Ogogo emphasised that fatherhood goes beyond providing material support, adding that emotional presence and commitment are important parts of raising children.

The actor’s comments highlight the wider conversation around responsible parenting and the role of fathers in creating stable family environments.
