Popular Nollywood actress Aisha Lawal has shared a harrowing account of her near escape from the tragic explosion that rocked Ibadan on Tuesday night at Dejo Oyelese Close, Bodija Housing Estate. The talented actress, known for her roles in the Nigerian film industry, took to her Instagram account to recount the terrifying experience.

As news of the Ibadan explosion circulated, Aisha Lawal revealed that she was present in Bodija at the time of the incident, and the impact of the explosion still resonates in her ears. In her Instagram post, she expressed gratitude for her safety and detailed the sequence of events that led to her narrow escape.

“Alhamdulilah for today, I was at Bodija when the explosion took place, in fact, my ears are still ringing from the effect. Thank God for our lives,” she shared, emphasizing the shock and aftermath of the explosion.

Aisha Lawal went on to explain that she had initially parked her car near an estate to buy suya but later decided to move it to another location just moments before the explosion occurred. Her decision to relocate her vehicle proved to be crucial, possibly saving her from the impact of the blast.

“I parked to buy suya opposite that Estate but later I moved my car from Sloggers Club to the Metro Hotel on the same Osuntokun when it happened. God have mercy oo. Too many dead bodies. What exactly is going on?” Aisha Lawal questioned, expressing disbelief at the unfolding tragedy.
