The Nollywood actress and singer said on her Instagram stories that no man will date or marry her without undergoing a two-year investigation and paying a billion naira upfront.

The single mother of one disclosed these conditions in a candid post that has since gone viral. According to her, any man who seeks her affection must not only prove his background but also compensate her financially before even speaking to her romantically.

Quoting a conversation with a male friend, Okorie wrote: “A male friend of mine said, ‘Angela, any guy wey you go date or marry you, we go investigate am for 2 years before you go gree…

He will pay artists fee every day before he go talk to you else we no go gree o…’ So note that before dating or marriage you will pay a billion naira.”

She did not shy away from critics who accused her of commodifying love. “Before relationship, I don’t care if people say I am selling my love, Yes am selling my love o,” she declared, insisting that she knows her worth and won’t compromise on it.
