Ned Nwoko marriage claim: Senator denies marrying Regina Daniels at 17, citing voter card evidence showing she was 21 at the time

Ned Nwoko marriage claim has been firmly refuted by the Delta North Senator, who addressed circulating reports suggesting he married actress Regina Daniels when she was just 17.

In a statement posted on his official X handle on Thursday, Nwoko described the allegations as “entirely untrue and misleading.”

He emphasised that during their first meeting, Regina informed him she was 21 years old and provided supporting documentation.

“During my first meeting with Regina, I asked her age, and she told me she was 21 years old. I further asked if she had any document to support this, and she presented her INEC voter’s card, which clearly shows that she was born on October 10th, 1998,” Nwoko explained.

He added that he has kept the document in his possession since that day, reinforcing his denial of the claims. The senator’s clarification aims to dispel public misconceptions surrounding their past marriage.
