Lateef Adedimeji praises Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji for visiting his film set, boosting morale and supporting Ekiti’s cultural heritage

Actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, following a visit to the set of his latest film project.

In an Instagram post, Adedimeji said he, his wife, and the entire cast and crew were “deeply honoured” by the governor’s solidarity visit, which he described as a morale booster for the production team.

Adedimeji noted that the governor’s support has strengthened their determination to deliver a world-class production that highlights the resilience, culture, and heritage of the Ekiti people and the broader Yoruba community.

“His personal visit to the sets and his unwavering support for arts, culture, and history reflect visionary leadership and a deep commitment to Ekiti’s heritage,” Adedimeji wrote.

“This gesture and encouragement further strengthen our resolve to deliver a historic project successfully.”

The actor also praised Governor Oyebanji for his consistent backing of the arts, describing the visit as an affirmation of the government’s commitment to promoting local culture. He thanked the governor for his kindness, humility, and belief in the project.
