Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has spoken about her experience filming an intimate scene with actor Daniel Etim Effiong in Blood Sisters Season 2, highlighting the professionalism and trust required to execute such roles.

Henshaw made the disclosure during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, published on Sunday, June 15, 2026, where she reflected on the demands of performing emotionally and physically sensitive scenes on set.

The actress explained that she had a direct conversation with Daniel Etim Effiong before filming the scene to ensure mutual comfort and clarity about the boundaries involved.

“I had a conversation with Daniel about the sex scene, ‘How far are you comfortable?’ And he said, ‘Sis, no problem,’” she said.

Henshaw noted that the production required openness and discipline from both actors, stressing that such scenes are handled with strict professionalism in the film industry.

She revealed that she appeared topless during the shoot but praised her co-star for maintaining composure and respect throughout the process.

“I was bare up with him. At no point did Daniel get an erection, he’s a good boy,” she added.

The actress further emphasised that intimate scenes are often misunderstood by audiences, pointing out that they require consent, preparation, and a strong level of professionalism from everyone involved.

Her comments have since generated reactions among Nollywood fans, with many commending Daniel Etim Effiong for his conduct and praising Henshaw for her openness in discussing the realities of filmmaking.
