Ojo expressed her concerns in an Instagram post on Friday, August 14, 2026, saying she was aware of what she described as discreet moves by unnamed individuals.

The actress did not identify the people she referred to as her detractors or disclose specific details about the alleged plans.

Instead, she said she was closely monitoring developments and would continue to speak publicly while relying on established legal processes.

“I’m aware my detractors are plotting. I’m solidly on ground!” Ojo said.

She added that, as a law-abiding citizen, she would continue to observe how the situation unfolds while placing emphasis on due process and institutional independence.

“As a law abiding citizen, we shall keenly observe adherence to the rule of law, compliance with due process and institutional independence,” she said.

Ojo also suggested that she had received information about what she described as quiet meetings and undisclosed activities.

“Our eyes are seeing the crooked plans and camouflaged visits. Our ears are hearing the silent whisperings,” she wrote.

Despite the concerns she raised, the actress said she would not stop speaking about issues she believes require public attention.

“And likewise, our lips won’t cease to speak to the consciousness of the society,” she said.

Ojo reassured her supporters that she remained confident that the truth would eventually emerge.

“My beautiful fans and family, irrespective of how far falsehood may travel, the truth shall catch up with it! The truth shall emerge in earnest!” she added.

The actress has previously been outspoken on issues affecting the Nigerian entertainment industry, including film piracy and other matters involving the rights of filmmakers.

Her latest statement, however, leaves the identity of the alleged plotters and the nature of the purported plans unclear.

No individual or organisation was named in the post, and Ojo did not provide evidence or further details to substantiate the allegations.
