Ibrahim Chatta Lost 49 Horses and has responded to criticism after revealing that another horse died following his earlier statement about losing 48 horses

Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has broken his silence over reactions to his recent claim that he lost several horses, revealing that the actual number is 49.

The actor addressed the controversy after a video of him discussing the death of his horses went viral, with some social media users questioning how he could own and maintain such a number of horses.

Chatta explained that he normally avoids responding to every comment made about him but decided to clarify the situation after seeing negative reactions online.

“I have cultivated the habit of not addressing everything people say about me. I watched like two videos that people reposted, bashing me,” he said.

The actor corrected his earlier statement, saying he lost 49 horses rather than 48 because another horse died afterward.

“Let me say it directly: I have lost 49 horses and not 48. Because after that 48, another one died,” he explained.

Chatta added that he lost two horses in 2026, describing it as the lowest number of losses he has experienced in a year.

“This year we have lost two horses, and this is the lowest,” he said.
