The actress said her recovery marked a turning point in her life, adding that she now considers herself fully restored after years of health challenges that kept her away from public life and professional engagements.

Halima Abubakar stated that her experience was not only medical but also spiritual, describing it as a journey that reshaped her faith and outlook on life.

“I’m a brand-new person now. I have given my life to Christ. I want to serve God because He has helped me. I almost died. They almost killed me. This is not about movies; this is about restoration and testimony. Halima Abubakar is back, big and better,” she said.

The actress explained that her healing journey was supported through prayers and spiritual guidance linked to Queen Belemzy Ministries, also known as the School of Power, which she credited for playing a role in her recovery process.

According to her, her initial interaction with Apostle Queen Belemzy was tense due to her emotional state at the time, but she later embraced the support offered, which she said became a turning point in her recovery.

Abubakar said she eventually maintained consistent communication and prayer support, which she believes contributed to her improvement and eventual restoration of health.

She added that her experience has now pushed her to publicly dedicate her life to Christian service, stating that her survival was evidence of divine intervention and purpose.

“Right now, I’m ready to serve God because He wants me to serve Him. He has delivered me, so I need to serve Him and preach His gospel to the people,” she added.
