Femi Adebayo Ex-Wife Clears Rumour linking Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele to her failed marriage with the Nollywood actor

Omotayo Sanusi, former wife of Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, has broken her silence on rumours surrounding the collapse of their marriage, dismissing claims that actresses Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele were involved in the separation.

Omotayo addressed the speculation in a statement shared on her Instagram page, saying she decided to speak out after what she described as repeated false narratives about her personal life continued to circulate online.

She stated that claims suggesting Toyin Abraham informed her about an alleged relationship between Femi Adebayo and another actress during a movie production were untrue.

“I have deliberately chosen not to publicly respond to the many false stories and allegations surrounding my marriage. However, because these narratives continue to spread and are being presented as facts, I believe it is necessary to address one of them,” Omotayo said.

She added that she never confronted, attacked, assaulted or harassed anyone on a movie set, contrary to allegations that had emerged online.

“For the record, I never confronted, attacked, assaulted, or harassed any woman or man at any movie location. No such incident ever took place,” she stated.

Femi Adebayo Ex-Wife Clears Rumour by also explaining that she was present throughout the production referenced in the claims and played a supporting role behind the scenes.

According to Omotayo, she and her team were responsible for catering and welfare arrangements for more than 500 cast and crew members during over one month of filming.

She challenged anyone who claimed to have experienced harassment from her during the production to publicly provide evidence.

“I believe it is only fair that if anyone genuinely claims to have been attacked by me, directly or indirectly, they should come forward and say so themselves,” she said.

Omotayo explained that her decision to remain silent for an extended period was motivated by respect for those involved and a desire to avoid unnecessary public disputes.

“I have remained silent out of respect for everyone involved and because I chose peace over public disputes. However, my silence should never be interpreted as an admission that these allegations are true,” she said.

The former couple’s marriage and subsequent separation have attracted public attention over the years, with various claims and speculations circulating across social media platforms.

Omotayo’s latest statement seeks to separate verified facts from online speculation, while appealing to the public to avoid spreading claims that she said could damage reputations.
