Faithia Williams mother tribute moves fans as Nollywood actress shares emotional message 41 days after her mother’s passing

Faithia Williams, a Nollywood actress, has penned an emotional tribute to her late mother 41 days after her passing in Lagos, reflecting on grief, love, and enduring memories on Monday.

she shared the tribute on her Instagram page, where she expressed deep sorrow over the loss and described her mother as her “first home” and “safest prayer”.

The actress said time had done little to heal her pain, noting that each sunrise felt like a reminder of absence and emotional loss.

“41 days have passed since we laid you to rest, Moomi, yet every sunrise still feels like the first without you,” she wrote.

She described her mother as a strong influence in her life, praising her for teaching love, forgiveness, and resilience. The actress said her mother’s presence still lives within her, despite her physical absence.

“You were not just my mother; you were my first home, my safest prayer, my loudest cheerleader,” she said in the tribute.

Faithia Williams mother tribute further highlighted her determination to continue living in a way that would honour her mother’s legacy, promising to remain strong and hopeful despite the pain.

“Until we meet again, I will keep living in a way that makes you proud,” she added.

The actress’s mother died in February, just days before what would have been a major family celebration.

She was later laid to rest on March 7, with colleagues and friends in attendance.

Since the burial, Williams has continued to share emotional reflections, including her struggle to return to work while still processing grief.

She previously described her world as “dark and broken” but expressed gratitude for public support during the difficult period.
