Evan Okoro marriage crisis has taken a troubling turn as the Nollywood actress publicly accused her estranged husband, Chibuzor Erifike, of threatening her life.

In a candid social media video, Okoro described her marriage as “a shoe I took home that is not my size,” saying she initially mistook his intentions for love.

She alleged that Erifike repeatedly demanded money from her business deals, including a small Lagos advert job, and reacted angrily when she refused.

Okoro also claimed the relationship lacked intimacy and emotional connection, and that involving his family brought no improvement.

Her fears intensified after she posted photos of her new home online, prompting rumours that Erifike planned to harm or kidnap her.

“I built that house myself before our relationship,” she said, confirming she has filed a police petition.
