Veteran Nigerian actor Don Richard has dismissed widespread reports claiming he had died, assuring fans that he is alive and in good health.

Don Richard Dismisses Death Rumours, which came after viral claims on Thursday suggested the actor had passed away following a prolonged battle with kidney disease.

Reacting via his Instagram page on Friday, Don Richard described the reports as false and misleading, expressing gratitude to supporters who reached out over the speculation.

“There’s nothing wrong with me… I’m alive, hale and hearty,” he said, while criticising those responsible for spreading the claims.

The actor’s response has helped calm concerns among fans, many of whom had expressed shock following the circulation of the unverified reports.

Don Richard had previously revealed his health struggles, including a public appeal for financial assistance in July 2025 after reportedly selling personal assets to manage his treatment.

Despite the earlier challenges, his latest statement reassures the public that he remains in stable condition.
