Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has condemned what he described as the exploitation of Nigerian resources, offering a strong public prayer against individuals who benefit from the country’s wealth while ordinary citizens bear the consequences.

Writing on Instagram, Ninalowo said: “May God Almighty punish and withhold his grace from anyone who has taken and benefits from Nigerian resources at the expense and pain of other Nigerians.”

The statement quickly attracted attention online, adding to a growing wave of commentary from Nigerian entertainers on governance, public welfare and national development.

Bolanle Ninalowo slams those benefiting from Nigerian resources message comes amid increasing political discussions ahead of the 2027 general election, with several celebrities using their platforms to express concerns about the country’s direction.

Recently, Iheme Nancy criticised supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu seeking re-election in 2027, distancing herself from those backing the president and describing such support in harsh terms.

Similarly, Yvonne Jegede publicly rebuked Tinubu supporters, urging them to reflect on their actions and conscience.

Singer Davido also addressed public criticism surrounding his relationship with Seyi Tinubu.

Davido explained that his friendship with Seyi Tinubu predates current political debates and said he regularly communicates concerns about national issues despite their relationship.

Actor Jide Awobona recently responded to backlash following comments on insecurity, revealing that he received an overwhelming number of reactions from Nigerians expressing frustration over the situation in the country.

Other public figures have also weighed in.

Actress Dayo Amusa urged young Nigerians to channel their concerns constructively, while Israel DMW warned voters against accepting inducements ahead of the next election cycle.
