“Ice is so ungrateful. I bought him shoes, and he hates them. Go walk with your bare feet then. Ghetto ass dog! Sometimes I ask myself if I’m ok, because what is this?” she wrote.

The actress’ post follows a trend among Nigerian celebrities of going to extreme lengths for their pets.

Last month, media personality Nancy Isime celebrated the first birthday of her four dogs with a special meal, referring to them jokingly as “nepo babies.”

DJ Cuppy, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, has previously spoiled her dogs with accessories including glasses, bracelets, ties, and chains, while also taking them to church for blessings.

Veteran actress Ireti Doyle admitted she overcame her fear of dogs after her daughter persuaded her to get one, eventually becoming a dog lover with multiple pets.

Actor Kanayo Kanayo highlighted a TikTok video showing dogs living luxuriously overseas, noting that some pets enjoy comforts beyond the reach of many humans in Nigeria.

Bimbo Ademoye’s lighthearted post underscores the strong bond between Nigerian celebrities and their pets, blending humour with genuine affection.
