Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola-Salako and her husband Kayode Salako, the last one year became topsy-turvy but they were able to make amends.

Though this couple has always hit the headlines with how they met, got married coupled with chronicles of their previous relationships, Foluke must have explained over a hundred times that she didn’t snatch her husband from his first wife.

She did that again recently when a twitter user claimed that the Nollywood actress took hold of Kayode from his wife while disguising as a coach at Bosworth, a school he founded in Oshodi, Lagos.

The tweep, who claimed to be a student of the school at the time of the incident, wrote on twitter, “I’m sorry. I’m not judging o. can’t take her serious. Because every time I see dis woman I’m reminded of how she came into my sec school as acting coach & ended up snatching d school owner’s husband.Both of them took the school from the Proprietress who had inherited it from her mum.”

The actress via her Instagram page recently addressed the issue and stated that Kayode’s wife left on her own free will.

Foluke said, “Kayode Salako isn’t somebody anybody can snatch. Also, the woman left Kayode Salako, not the other way round . She decided she was stepping out of the marriage for whatever reasons she had. And he decided that he has found love in me and I have found love in him; which is very allowed. We are two content individuals that find fulfillment in each other and we are entitled to our emotions. I understand that people aren’t happy when we are happy and try to sell bitterness to you, I’m sorry, I’m not buying that. I am happily married to my husband, not someone else’s husband. I didn’t snatch anyone’s husband. My husband is the typical African man that can’t be snatched.”

So, they were separated for a year?

“When I was ideologically at war with my husband, we decided that we wanted to go our separate ways and when he saw that,‘I can’t do without this woman,’ he came back and we talked about it and we continued from where we stopped,” she explained.

She also admitted that her husband is a polygamist who has children with multiple different women, Foluke continued by saying that she is his sole legal spouse.

Foluke, a mum of two said, “, I am the only legal wife to Olukayode Ezekiel Salako. My husband is a polygamist and has kids from other women. I can’t crucify him because of that. My husband might not be Dangote or Femi Otedola . We might not be stupendously rich but we are happy and content. What my husband has, I am absolutely in love with it, which is peace of mind. Olukayode Ezekiel Salako gives me peace of mind. He allows me to fly, he encourages me in everything I want to do. Lately, we were separated for a about a year; We didn’t come on social media to start making a noise or start telling people that somebody snatched my husband. That’s because I’m not a mediocre. I am not stupid. I’m complete in myself and if a man decides to walk out of my life, that’s his kettle of fish.”
